SAN FRANCISCO – Utah's
Parker Van Dyke,
Jayce Johnson and
David Collette were each named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Team, the league office announced today. Van Dyke and Johnson were both named second-team selections, while Collette earned honorable mention.

Van Dyke, who has a 3.26 GPA in economics, started 10 games for the Utes this season, while posting a 4.6 scoring average and totaling 1.2 rebounds, 43 assists, 15 steals and knocking down 28 three-pointers. This is Van Dyke's second all-academic selection after earning second-team honors last season.

Johnson, who has a cumulated 3.49 GPA in psychology, started one of the 25 games he has played in this season. He averages 5.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, while also having posted a .505 field goal shooting percentage and 25 blocked shots. This marks Johnson's first-ever all-academic selection.

Collette, who has a 3.37 GPA in Economics, averaged 12.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 28 starts for the Utes. He led the team and the Pac-12 with a .629 field goal shooting percentage, while also collecting 32 assists, 25 steals and 19 blocked shots. This is Collette's second all-academic honor after earning second-team honors a year ago.

Utah ranked tied for second among Pac-12 schools with a total of two players on either the first or second teams. Oregon State led the way with three selections, while Washington State tied the Utes with a pair of selections.
