Whirlwind Schedule at Pac-12 Media Day

Ute trio of Kyle Whittingham, Lo Falemaka and Chase Hansen Heads to Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Two Utah football players and their head coach will be in the media spotlight a week before preseason camp starts at the Pac-12 Football Media Day in Hollywood, Calif. While the official media event is Wednesday, July 25 at the Hollywood & Highland Entertainment Center, Coach Kyle Whittingham, senior center Lo Falemaka and senior linebacker Chase Hansen also have a busy schedule on Tuesday.

After checking in Tuesday morning, the players will begin a series of photo and video shoots with entities such as the National Football Foundation, FOX and the Pac-12 Networks. Later in the day, while Whittingham is attending a Pac-12 coaches' meeting, Falemaka and Hansen and players from the other 11 Pac-12 schools will participate in media training with Pac-12 Network studio hosts Ashley Adamson and Mike Yam.

From there, they will head over to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live in studio. After dinner, the players will get in some friendly preseason competition at Lucky Strike Bowl.

On Wednesday, the Utes will face a full slate of media interviews with ESPN, FOX, CBSSN, Pac-12 Networks and dozens of other national and local media outlets. Representing the Salt Lake City market are Utah flagship radio station ESPN 700, as well as the Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret News, KSL-TV, KSTU FOX 13 and 1280 the Zone.

The Pac-12 Networks will go live from the Hollywood & Highland Entertainment Center on Wednesday with its "Inside Pac-12 Football: Media Day Special." The special consists of two three-hour shows featuring the Pac-12 North at 9:30 a.m. MT and the Pac-12 South at 2 p.m. MT.
