SALT LAKE CITY – Several Utah baseball players made an impact across the country in different summer leagues with two Utes helping their teams win championships.

Senior
Chandler Anderson helped lead the Corvallis Knights to a summer league championship while having a great summer at the plate. He was named Second Team All-WCL after hitting .337 and batting in 34 RBI. Anderson led the team with 22 stolen bases and was second on the team scoring 40 runs. He stepped up in the playoffs batting .474 as the Knights won their third WCL title in a row. The outfielder hit .318 through 54 games in the regular season.

Oliver Dunn helped Wareham Gatemen win the 2018 Cape Cod Baseball League Championship. Over the summer, he hit .230 in 34 games knocking in 10 RBI and scoring 19 runs.

Dominic Foscalina had a good summer with the Anchorage Glacier Pilots in the Alaska Baseball League. He hit .267 and had 20 RBI on 20 hits. Foscalina played in 24 games with the Glacier Pilots.

Shea Kramer played for the Willmar Stingers in the Northwoods League and had 15 RBI on 20 hits. For the summer, he batted .211 in 35 games.

Everyone is back on campus as school has started and the team has begun working out. Team practices begin on September 17.
