SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah baseball team continues its preparation for the spring by hosting BYU this Saturday, October 5 at 1 p.m. in Smith's Ballpark.

The Utes and Cougars have two scrimmages planned this fall that are open to the public with free admission. Fans can bring in their own food and drinks.

Utah comes into the season welcoming back six starters and 17 letterwinners as well as a recruiting class that is ranked 18
th by Collegiate Baseball that had four players drafted in last June's MLB Draft.

During the 2019 season, Utah and BYU played twice with each team winning once. In the Utes win, BYU came back to tie the score in the eighth and
Rykker Tom hit a two-run triple that put Utah back in front for good to secure the victory.

Utah and BYU are very familiar with each other playing 364 times.
