SALT LAKE CITY – Utah baseball's
Kyle Robeniol has received approval for his medical hardship waiver allowing him to regain one more season of competition in a Utah uniform.

He was Utah's Friday starter for the start of the 2019 season before hurting his knee against Oregon State.

Robeniol held a 4.91 ERA in his eight appearances in 2019. The left-handed pitcher struck out 27 batters while only walking 12 in 36.1 innings pitched. He pitched at least 6.0 innings in three of his seven starts.

The Utes are currently in the middle of practicing this fall preparing for the 2020 season. They have their second and final scrimmage against BYU of the fall tomorrow (Friday, October 25). The game will be down in Provo at 3:30 p.m.Â
