SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Since the 2011-12 season, Oregon State is 4-8 in the Pac-12 Tournament while going 1-3 inside T-Mobile since it moved there for the 2016-17 conference tournament. The lone win at T-Mobile and last win in the conference tournament for the Beavers came in 2018 when they defeated the No. 7 seed Washington in overtime, 69-66, as the No. 10 seed.
Â
Oregon State finished the regular-season 17-13 overall and 7-11 in Pac-12 play thanks to a 74-56 win over Cal in the finale this past Saturday inside Gill Coliseum. GACH GARNERS POW HONORS

Â
The 6-6 guard then went on to score five of Utah's 10 points in the extra period, three of which came at the free throw line to give the Utes the win after drawing a foul beyond the arc with 0.6 seconds remaining.

This is the first weekly award for Gach in his young career and third player of the week honor for Utah. The three accolades for Utah is only second to Oregon, who had four this season.
Â
VEGAS ODDS & ENDS
Since the beginning of the newly formed Pac-12, the No. 9 seed has only won the opening game of the conference tournament twice. Oregon State went 2-1 in 2012 while Arizona State went 1-1 in 2013. The ninth seed has since gone 0-6 in the opening round game. The 2020 Pac-12 Tournament will be the first time seeing Utah as the No. 9 seed and Oregon State as the No. 8 seed.
Â
OSU's run to the semifinals ended when it fell to the fourth-seeded Arizona Wildcats 72-61 inside STAPLES Center. ASU's opening round win over Stanford 89-88 in overtime is the only win for a No. 9 seed since the tournament moved to Las Vegas.
Â
Utah is 2-0 in overtime games at the tournament, once as the lower seed and once as the higher seed. Overall, the higher seed has gone 6-4 in overtime games. Of the 10 overtime games that have been played since 2011-12, four have occurred during the semifinals, four in the first round games and two in the quarterfinals.
