SALT LAKE CITY – Preseason fourth-ranked Utah Gymnastics is set to make its return to the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Friday, Dec. 15, for its annual Red Rocks Preview. The Utes will showcase routines at the intrasquad event beginning with introductions at 6:45 p.m. MT. Admission to the event is free and all seating will be general admission. The meet will be streamed on the Pac-12 Insider, while Utah's flagship radio ESPN 700 will also broadcast the event.

FAN FACTS
• Doors open to the public at 5:30 p.m. MT.
• The Kids Zone will be in sections 11-15, and there will be snowflake and ornament-making activities, as well as a face painter and balloon artist before the meet.
• Utah gymnasts will debut the Red Rocks Collection, which is a leotard collection that features 14 unique leotards designed by each gymnast on the team. Each leotard will be on sale throughout the 2024 season. The Leotards will be on sale throughout the concourse in the Huntsman Center for $45 and available for purchase online after the event.Â
• Free Utah Gymnastics team posters and calendars will be available throughout the concourse while supplies last.
• Red Rocks student-athletes will be available to autograph posters or calendars after the meet in a one-time-only autograph session. Each fan may have only one item autographed.
GETTING TO THE MEET
• Fans are able to ride TRAX for free with their meet ticket. For Red Rocks Preview, fans will not have a proof of ticket, but can tell the employee they are going to the Utah Gymnastics meet.
• Parking will be free in every lot for the event. Fans can park at Rice-Eccles Stadium and take TRAX for free up to the arena.Â
• There will be a new "Red Rocks Express" this season, which is a free shuttle service from the Guardsman Way Tailgate lot and Broadcast Center lot on Wasatch Drive. The shuttle will run continuously before and after the meet.Â

• Utah is one of six teams to earn at least one first-place vote. For the seventh consecutive season Utah has earned a spot in the top five nationally in the preseason poll. The Red Rocks are set to face nine teams in the top-25 poll throughout the 2024 campaign.Â
• Head coach
Carly Dockendorf enters her first year as head coach of the program and her 7th overall with the Red Rocks. Utah's coaching staff remains unchanged under new leadership, with assistant coaches
Jimmy Pratt and
Myia Hambrick entering their third seasons with the program.
• Utah returns 16-of-24 routines from last year's third-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
• Utah is coming off its fourth consecutive Pac-12 Regular Season Championship, third-straight and sixth overall Pac-12 Championship, and an NCAA Regional title.

Maile O'Keefe is the reigning NCAA all-around and beam champion. O'Keefe now owns four individual national championships, adding to her 2021 bar and floor championships. This is the third consecutive year a Red Rock has claimed a national crown after
Jaedyn Rucker's vault title marked the second year in a row a Red Rock won a national title in 2022.
• Utah's roster contains five All-Americans: O'Keefe (16-time All-American),
Grace McCallum (6x),
Abby Paulson (4x), Rucker (2x), and Mckenna Smith (1x).
• Utah welcomes freshmen
Elizabeth Gantner,
Olivia Kennedy,
Camie Winger and
Ella Zirbes, along with Temple transfer
Ashley Glynn to the 2024 roster.
- Gantner is a two-time U.S. Classic qualifier and two-time American Classic competitor. She brings in a pair of national championships on the beam and bars.
- Kennedy is a two-time Junior Olympic National Championships qualifier with 10 Georgia state championship medals.
- Winger is a Utah native and a two-time national runner-up at the Level 10 National Championships, on bars in 2021 and on floor in 2022.
- Zirbes brings a pair of all-around national championships in 2019 and 2023, with a bars title in 2019 as well. She competed at the 2019 Junior World Championship Trials and the Junior Olympic Trials.
- Glynn brings a year of collegiate gymnastics experience to the Red Rocks, after being named Temple's Rookie of the Year and the department's Female Sport Newcomer of the Year in 2023. Glynn competed in the all-around for the Owls at eight competitions with a start on the vault in all 13.

LOOKING AHEAD
Utah Gymnastics will host Boise State to kick off the 2024 season, welcoming the Broncos to the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Friday, Jan. 5. The meet begins at 7 p.m. MT and will be streamed on the Utah Live Stream.

The following week, Utah will stay local and make the short drive to the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah, to compete against some of the nation's top competition at the ESPN Events Invitational. The preseason No. 4 Red Rocks are set to take on No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 3 LSU, and No. 5 UCLAÂ at 2 p.m. MT on Saturday, Jan. 13.
