MADRID – The Utah men's basketball team routed Zentro Basket in its final game of its four-game foreign tour in Spain on Tuesday 100-61 inside the Centro Deportivo Municipal Antonio Diaz Miguel.

Both teams got off to a bit of a slow start with neither team reaching double-digit points until the midway point before Utah got hot from the floor and went on a 19-5 run to lead 29-13 at the end of the first quarter.

The second frame was a little bit more even with the Utes barely breaking the 20-point lead mark before the opposition brought it back down to give Utah the 53-37 lead at half.

The Runnin' Utes came out firing on all cylinders in the opening minutes of the third quarter with
Cole Bajema leading the brigade of shooters. Hot shooting coupled with dominant play from Utah's front court saw it take a 78-54 edge heading into the final quarter of play before winning with a final score of 100-61.

Branden Carlson (16 points),
Lawson Lovering (13 points) and
Keba Keita combined for 42 points while Bajema tied Carlson with a team-high 16 points.
Gabe Madsen also chipped in with 11 points to round out the list of double-digit scorers.
