SALT LAKE CITY – Fans will get their first look at the 2024-25 Utah men's basketball team on Tuesday, Oct. 29, when it plays host to CSU Pueblo for an exhibition game inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center ahead of the season-opener. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. (MT).

First 100 students in attendance at door 4 will receive a $10 food voucher. Meanwhile, a fan favorite from the NIT last season is back for the exhibition with $2 hot dogs. Fans will also get a chance to meet the 2024-25 Runnin' Utes at the conclusion of the game with postgame autographs down on the floor.

The match-up between the Runnin' Utes and ThunderWolves will serve as a primer ahead of the season-opener on Monday, Nov. 4, when Utah welcomes in Alcorn State. Opening night will also be a double-header for basketball fans as the women's basketball team hosts Southern Utah.

Utah welcomes in nine new faces to this year's roster, 10 including
Caleb Lohner who is currently playing with the Utah football team. Of the new faces, eight are transfers while two are true freshmen in
Joul Karram and
Ibi Traore. Among the transfers, two are fifth years (Lohner &
Mason Madsen), three are juniors (
Ezra Ausar,
Mike Sharavjamts &
Zach Keller) and three sophomores (
Miro Little,
Brady Smith &
Keanu Dawes).
