SALT LAKE CITY – Week 7 brings Utah fans a packed slate of Pro Utes as 18 Utah Football alumni are slated to suit up across the NFL in 10 different games.
Three AFC division leaders and four in the NFC have at least one Utah connection. Buffalo (S Cole Bishop and TE Dalton Kincaid) has a one-game pad for the AFC East lead, while Baltimore (S Marcus Williams) is in a tie atop the North. Off to a 5-0 start are the Kansas City Chiefs, leading the AFC West with defensive quality control coach Alex Whittingham on staff.
It's a similar story in the NFC, with Commanders assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator Brian Johnson helping the team to a 4-2 record—best in the East. Clark Phillips III had an interception last week as the Atlanta Falcons improved to 4-2, tying for the NFC South lead. And out West, San Francisco (P Mitch Wishnowsky) and Seattle (OL Sataoa Laumea) share the top spot in the division at 3-3.
