MATCH WEEK
Utah Volleyball returns home this week, haunting the Huntsman on Halloween night, hosting the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. MT. The Utes return to action, looking at another top 25 showdown with the 13th-ranked Sun Devils from Arizona State on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. MT.
Utah fans can tune in to ESPN+ on Thursday and Saturday to catch both matches this week. Krista Blunk will be providing the play-by-play, with Victoria Dennis on color for the call.

• The Utes moves to #22 in the most recent AVCA top 25 poll. Utah split its most recent set of Big 12 road matches, taking down K-State (3-1) before falling to #9 Kansas in straight sets.
 • Utah made its way back into the the top 25 in the week seven poll this season. This was the first time since coming in at 22nd in the preseason of the 2022 poll.Â
• As a team, Utah has averaged 14.4 kills per set with 13.4 assists per set. From the service line, the Utes are averaging 1.6 aces per set. On the defensive side of the net, Utah is posting 15.3 digs per set with 2.4 blocks per set.

Kamryn Gibadlo heads into the weekend just five kills shy of hitting the 500 career kills milestone.Â
• Utah is 17-29 all-time against the Arizona Wildcats and own a 20-18 all-time record against the Arizona State Sun Devils.
• The Utes are 9-1 in their last 10 meetings with the Wildcats. Utah took the last decision against Arizona, 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 27-25), when the two sides met in Tucson in early October.
• Utah fell in the first meeting of the season at Arizona State, 3-1 (25-17, 13-25, 19-25, 15-25). The Utes are 3-2 in the last five meetings, facing the Sun Devils at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Kamryn Gibadlo earned the first Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors for the program since joining the new conference and the first weekly award of her career.
• The Utes have won 10 of 20 matches by way of a 3-0 decision. Â
• Utah boasts a deep attack of four hitters averaging 2.0+ kills per set with a hitting percentage of .250 or better.

AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
• Utah ranks among the best in the nation (5th) and the Big 12 (2nd) for kills per set, averaging 14.43.
• The Utah attack is top 25 in the country, coming in at 23rd, posting a .268 hitting percentage, the Utes rank 3rd in the Big 12.Â
• As one of the most efficient hitting teams in the nation, Utah ranks 5th in the nation in assists per set at 13.39 and 2nd in the Big 12.
• The Utah defense has held its opponents to a .170 hitting percentage, ranking them 30th in the nation and 2nd in the Big 12.Â
• At the net, the Utes average 2.36 blocks per set ranking 3rd in the Big 12.

Allie Olsen ranks among the top 30 in the nation for hitting percentage, coming in at 26th and posting a .392 clip.
Emrie Satuala cracks the top 50 in hitting percentage, with a .370 marker and coming in at 44th in the NCAA.
BAD, BAD, GIBADLO
• Gibadlo has led the Utah attack 15 times this season, including the last nine matches.Â
• Gibadlo set a new career-high kill mark with 17 in the Big 12 opener against Texas Tech. Most recently, she came up one kill shy of matching her season and career-high in kills, finishing with 16 against BYU.
• She would have her most efficient match against Coppin State, hitting .533.
• On the season, Gibadlo has put away a team-high 235 total kills, leading the Utes with a 3.36 kills per set average.Â
• From the service line, Gibadlo has tallied 22 aces, which is the second most on the team.
SCOUTING ARIZONA
Utah vs. Arizona: 16-30

Arizona arrives in Salt Lake City with a 1-4 record over the past five matches. The Wildcats lone win during that span comes by way of a 3-1 win over Houston. Most recently, Arizona fell to Arizona State in the home side of the rivalry match against the Sun Devils, 3-1. Jaelyn Hodge leads the Arizona attack, posting a team-high 4.02 kills per set average with a .245 hitting percentage. Jordan Wilson and Carlie Cisneros add to the offensive presence, with Wilson adding 3.21 kills per set and Cisneros contributing 2.62. Cisneros (27) and Wilson (20) lead the Arizona serving effort with 20+ aces. Facilitating the Arizona attack, Avery Scoggins has tallied 603 assists on the season, dishing out 9.89 assists per set. At the net, Kiari Robey leads the Wildcat blocking defense with a team-high 67 total blocks.Â

SCOUTING #13 ARIZONA STATE
Utah vs. ASU: 20-18

The No. 13 Arizona State Sun Devils have won eight consecutive matches before making the trip to Utah for a pair of Big 12 matches. The Sun Devils will head to No. 20 BYU on Thursday for a midweek top 25 showdown with the Cougars, before arriving in Salt Lake City for their second consecutive top 25 contest. Claire Jeter leads the ASU attack with a team-high .449 hitting percentage, ranking fifth in the nation and first in the Big 12. Jeter is backed by a supporting cast, including Geli Cyr (3.75/.266), Shania Cromartie (2.56/.215) and Bailey Miller (2.19/.264), averaging 2+ kills per set. The ASU offense runs through Argentina Ung, averaging 10.15 assists per set with over 700 total assists on the season. On the receiving end, Mary Shroll has tallied 372 digs, averaging 5.10 digs per set. Savannah Kjolhede (66) along with Jeter (53) have provided the Sun Devils with the stopping power at the net, recording 50+ blocks so far.Â

Utah will hit the road on Wednesday, Nov. 6, taking on Colorado at 7 p.m. MT in Boulder. The Utes will return to Salt Lake City on Friday, Nov. 8, for a rivalry rematch with BYU at 7 p.m. MT.
