SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track & field team will send a total of 13 student-athletes to the NCAA West Regionals beginning this week at John McDonnell Field on the campus of the University of Arkansas. It will serve as the third-straight season that the Utes have had 10-plus qualifiers and the fourth time Utah has had double-digit qualifiers during head coach
Kyle Kepler's tenure.

ON THE STARTING BLOCK
Of the 13 total student-athletes the Women of Utah will be sending to the NCAA West Regionals,
Brooke Manson,
Josefine Eriksen,
Harley Daniel,
Erin Vringer and
Ally Gomm have all qualified for the west regional multiple times.

Manson leads the pack with her fourth appearance (2019, 2021, 2023, 2024) this year – all in the 800m event. Eriksen has now qualified for the regionals in the 800m event for the third-straight season. Meanwhile,
Harley Daniel (400mH),
Erin Vringer (1500m),
Emily Martin (4x400m relay [ALT]) and
Ally Gomm are two-time qualifiers. Gomm was an alternate on the 4x400m relay team in 2023 and qualified individually in the 400m hurdles while also running as a member of the relay team this season.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
With
Josefine Eriksen's ticket punched for the 2024 Olympics, there are a handful of Utes that are still looking to earn a spot on their national team and run an Olympic Standard time as we inch closer to the Summer Games. A slew of Canadians in
Simone Plourde,
Emily Martin,
Kyla Martin and
Erin Vringer will all run at the Canadian Championships in Montreal, Québec, Canada at the Claude Robillard Sports Complex June 26-30.

In addition,
Katarzyna Nowakowska will also be competing in the Polish Championships (June 27-30) in Bydgoszcz, Poland, at Zdzislaw Krzyszkowiak Stadium. She'll then also compete in the Polish U23 National Championships (July 13-14) in Lublin, Poland, at Stadion START Lublin. Nowakowska will wrap up her summer competition schedule on July 20 as part of a U23 competition between the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary and Poland in Kraków, Poland, at the AWF Sports Centre.

Should any of the Utes advance to the NCAA Championships they'll head to TrackTown USA as Eugene, Ore., is affectionately known as and race inside the reimagined Hayward Field, June 6 & 8. The entirety of the NCAA Outdoor Championships will once again be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks with day one of the women's events set to air on ESPN2 while championships Saturday will air on ESPN.
