SALT LAKE CITY – The Pac-12 Conference named the 2023-24 Tom Hansen Medal winners today with Utah's
Maile O'Keefe (gymnastics) and
Tyler Bradbury (lacrosse) earning the honor.
The Conference Medal is awarded annually to each member institution's outstanding senior male and female student-athlete based on the exhibition of the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership.
O'Keefe, a Las Vegas, Nev., native, finished up her historic career at Utah as a 19-time All-American, which included 2024 first-team honors on the beam and the floor. The 2024 Pac-12 beam champion recorded 15 perfect 10.0 scores in her career, the most in school history, with four coming this past season.
She is a four-time NCAA champion (2021: bars, floor; 2023: beam, all-around) and Pac-12 individual champion, also earning Pac-12 Specialist of the Year twice (2022, 2023). Off the competition floor, O'Keefe was a four-time WCGA Scholastic All-American and Pac-12 Academic Honor Rolle earner, also being honored as a two-time CSC Academic All-District selection.
Bradbury cemented himself in the Utah Lacrosse record books as the all-time leader in single-season (33) and career (108) assists, also breaking the school record in career points (216). He is a two-time All-ASUN first-team selection, earning ASUN Player of the Year honors in 2022.
The Oak Park, Calif., native also sits at No. 2 in single-game assists (6), single-season points (62) and career goals (108). He is a three-time ASUN All-Academic and Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll selection, earning ASUN Scholar Athlete of the Year in back-to-back years (2022, 2023) while also volunteering in community service initiatives across the Utah valley.
