Utes in the Pros: Preseason Week 2

SALT LAKE CITY – A whopping 14 preseason games this weekend are expected to feature at least one Utah Football alum as 32 Pro Utes are with NFL teams. Players throughout the league are continuing to battle for spots as teams are required to hit the league's roster cap of 53 players by August 27.
Pro Utes action kicks off Thursday night when Britain Covey and the Philadelphia Eagles visit Foxboro for a matchup with the New England Patriots on NFL Network.
On Saturday, the Buffalo-Pittsburgh game has four Utah alumni on the Bills' active roster, while six are expected to see action for the Broncos in Sunday's meeting with Green Bay.

Two more Utah alums find themselves in the coaching ranks of the NFL. Alex Whittingham remains on the Kansas City Chiefs staff as defensive quality control coach and begins his seventh season with the team. In the NFC, Brian Johnson has joined the Washington Commanders as assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator.
