SALT LAKE CITY – Landon Smith joins the Utah men's basketball program as the director of administration and operations for the upcoming season head coach

"We are thrilled to have Landon joining the Runnin' Utes," said Smith. "He is an absolute workhorse. No job is too big, no job is too small. He is very diligent. His organization skills and attention to detail are extremely high-level. All that matters to Landon is helping our team earn success."

Landon comes to Salt Lake City with familiarity to the program having worked the Utah Men's Basketball Camps the last two summers organizing, scheduling, inventory and budgeting among other logistical duties to ensure that each camp goes smoothly for participants and their families.

He also had operation duties the last two summers as an integral support staff member at Formula Zero, an elite basketball camp hosted by Damian Lillard and Phil Beckner for top high school, college and NBA players across the country. In addition to working the camp, he also held duties that required him to work as a liaison with NBA scouts, regional and national media members, coaches and athletes.
