SALT LAKE CITY – At last…it's here!
Coming off the preseason and with NFL teams idle over Labor Day Weekend, 27 alumni of the Utah Football program are on rosters in the league and 18 are expected to see game action in Week 1 of the regular season.
Thursday Night Football kicks off the action as Marcus Williams reps the Baltimore Ravens in a trip to Kansas City, where Alex Whittingham is beginning his seventh season as defensive quality control coach. On Friday night, Britain Covey's Eagles host Green Bay in a prime time matchup.
Nine different games on Sunday have at least one Ute in the mix, along with Monday Night Football.
