SALT LAKE CITY – The postseason has arrived in the NFL, and eight playoff teams boast a total of 14 Utah connections.
Four games during the Wild Card round have at least one former Ute involved, and throughout the entirety of the league there are 27 Pro Utes on team rosters.

Both teams with first-round byes have ties to Utah as well. In the NFC, Detroit earned the No. 1 seed and bring wide receiver Tim Patrick plus running back Sione Vaki into the postseason on the active roster. The AFC's No. 1 seed, Kansas City, have Alex Whittingham on staff as defensive quality control coach.
