Utah standout one of eight semifinalists for top tight end award
NEW YORK— Utah senior tight end Dallen Bentley has been named a Mackey Award Semifinalist, the award announced on Thursday.

Bentley has seen action in all nine of the Utes' games this season, making at least two catches in each of the contests. The Taylorsville, Utah, native caught a career-high six passes for 75 yards against Texas Tech.
Through nine games, Bentley has hauled in 32 passes for 383 yards and three touchdowns, all of which rank second on the team.

Three finalists for the Mackey Award will be announced on Nov. 26, with the winner being honored at the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 11. Â
