FIRST ONE OF THE YEAR
Erin Vringer will kick off the 2025-26 Indoor track & field season for Utah this Saturday, Dec. 6, when she competes in the 3k race in Boston, Mass., at the annual Sharon Colyear-Danville Opener inside the BU Track & Tennis Center on the campus of Boston University.

PETERS CLOSES OUT XC SEASON
Annastasia Peters will put a bow on the 2025 cross country season this Saturday, Dec. 6, when she runs in the women's 10k race at the USATF Cross Country Championships held at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, Ore. Gun is slated to go off at 2:50 p.m. (MST) / 1:50 p.m. (PST) local on
RunnerSpace.com. The Post Falls, Idaho, native will look to make her case for a shot to be 1-of-6 to represent the Red, White & Blue at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla., which was home to the 2021 NCAA Cross Country Championships. EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Women of Utah will have two representatives at the
2025 SPAR European Cross Country Championships next week (Dec. 14) in Lagoa, Portugal, with former All-American Poppy Tank representing Great Britain & Northern Ireland once again on the senior team while freshman
Emily Junginger will represent Germany in the U20 race. Junginger's U20 race is slated to begin at 2:30 a.m. (MST) / 9:30 a.m. (GMT +0) while Tank's race is set for 5 a.m. (MST) / 12 p.m. (GMT +0). The U20 race is slated for a 4450m while the senior race is measured at 7470m.

UP NEXT
The sprints team will get their first crack on the track next week when it competes at the annual BYU December Invite (Dec. 10-11) at Smith Fieldhouse. The pentathlon will kick things off on Wednesday, Dec. 10, before the Utes take the track on Thursday, Dec. 11.

LOOKING AHEAD
Utah will then take a break the rest of the calendar year before starting back up in the new year and hitting the indoor season in full stride with the Weber State Indoor Invitational (Jan. 9-10).
