SALT LAKE CITY – Junior outside hitter
Kamryn Gibadlo has been named AVCA All-Region for a second season in a row, making the first team in the Western Region.
Gibadlo looks to be on par with last season on postseason awards after
earning her second career All-Big 12 First Team honor last week in recognition of her outstanding junior campaign that started in the summer winning a gold medal in the PanAm Cup with U.S.A Volleyball's U21 Team, and being
recognized by the AVCA on its Player of the Year Watch List.
The Cave Creek, Ariz. native finished 2025 leading the Utes in kills (489) and digs (277) while coming third in aces (30) and fifth in assists (23) and blocks (47). Additionally, Gibadlo notched 14 matches with double-digit kills and digs which ranks second in the Big 12 and within the top-10 nationally.
In the Big 12, Gibadlo ranked sixth in the conference in kills per set (4.00), and seventh in points per set (4.40).
Gibadlo reached a career milestone this season, recording her 1000
th kill on Nov. 7 against TCU and is just three aces away from earning 100.
