SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah men's tennis team is set to begin its 2026 season Friday, Jan. 23, against Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif. The team's first home match of the season will be against Idaho State and Northern Arizona at the George S. Eccles Tennis Center on Jan. 29 and Feb. 1. The Utes will host a total of eight home matches this season.
After the home opener, the Utes hit the road to play eight consecutive away games. Utah will start the road trip playing against Denver Feb. 6 and Montana Feb. 7. The Utes will then take on San Diego State on Valentine's Day (Feb. 14).
The team will travel to Tennessee for the Battle In Boro where they will play Middle Tennessee on Feb. 20. The Utes will finish off the weekend playing Rice (Feb. 21) and Old Dominion (Feb. 22).
Utah will travel to Las Vegas to play Grand Canyon Feb. 28 and UNLV March 1.
The team will return home for three consecutive home matches. The Utes will play their last nonconference game against Montana State on Sat. March 7.
Big 12 play will begin at home against Oklahoma State on March 12. Utah will close out the three match home stretch against Arizona on March 14.
Utah will travel to UCF to take on the Knights March 21 and then to Tempe, Ariz. to play Arizona State March 26. The Utes will return for a home match against Texas Tech on April 2. The team will go to Texas for their last stretch of away homes against Baylor April 2 and TCU April 4.
The Utes will close out their regular season at home taking on the University of Idaho April 10. Utah will host rival BYU on April 11 to close out the regular season.
