Second-year Utah graduate assistant offensive coach Sartaj Khan (pronounced sar tahj con) is his fourth season with Ute co-offensive coordinator Jim Harding. Khan, who helps coach the Ute receivers, was also with Harding at Wyoming for two years: as an administrative assistant in 2012 and as an offensive graduate assistant in 2013.Â
Among the receivers he has worked with are NFL draft picks Kaelin Clay of Utah and Robert Herron of Wyoming.Â
From 2010-11, Khan was as an assistant boys' basketball coach at Sheridan High School (Wyo.). He also helped coordinate the Sheridan High strength and conditioning program.Â
Khan earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from UNLV in 2010, where he was a program supervisor for the UNLV Student Recreation and Wellness Center and a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. He also was an assistant head coach for the Nevada Youth Football League for two seasons.Â
The 27-year-old Sheridan, Wyo., native was born Nov. 4, 1987.
