UTAH: Leading candidate to start at tight end … began his career as a linebacker … signed in 2012 but first went on a church mission, joining the team in January 2015.
2018–Played in all 14 games, starting 12 … nine catches for 74 yards (2 TD) … three catches for 33 yards and a four-yard receiving touchdown against Northwestern in the Holiday Bowl … 11-yard touchdown catch against USC … two tackles on special teams … honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic.
2017–Played in all 13 games on special teams and saw action at tight end in nine games with one start (Colorado) … three catches for 46 yards … season-long 39-yard catch at Washington … three tackles on special teams … honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic.
