Prior to Utah:Â As a senior, Feldman threw 219 innings and amassed 260 strikeouts and a 1.18 earned run average. She helped Newsome High capture an 8A state title en route to being named All-State, All-Western Conference and the Tampa Times Hillsborough County Player of the Year. Feldman also played for Premier Girls Fastpitch and Amateur Softball Association U-16 national championship teams in 2015. She was also the No. 38-ranked recruit in the nation by FloSoftball.com.
Personal: Claire is the daughter of Gregory Feldman. She has two siblings, Mary Beth, a Ute teammate, and Olivia. She plans on majoring in business.
