LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Marques Brigham rushed for 106 yards and scored the winning touchdown with 4:03 remaining to lead Wyoming to a 27-24 victory over Utah.
The winning score was set up when the Cowboys' Matt Lehning intercepted Jonathan Crosswhite at midfield with 6:14 left. Brigham's 18-yard run capped a comeback from a 24-14 deficit for Wyoming (3-1, 1-0 WAC Mountain Division).
Mike Anderson rushed for 150 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns for Utah (3-2, 1-1 WAC Pacific Division).
Wyoming held Utah scoreless after a 47-yard field goal by Ryan Kaneshiro, the longest of his career, put the Utes up 24-14 early in the third quarter.
Aaron Elling kicked two field goals, from 42 and 46 yards, to draw Wyoming within four points.
Utah took its first lead when Crosswhite's 1-yard toss made it 21-14 with 37 seconds left in the first half. The Utes had tied the score at 14 on Anderson's 24-yard scamper down the left sideline with 6:14 left in the first half.
