Men's Golf Finishes Eighth at Anteater Invitational

IRVINE, Calif. - Senior Jon Morgan finished 10th overall at the Spalding Anteater Invitational hosted by UC Irvine on Tuesday to lead the Utes to an eighth place team finish. Morgan was eight over par and in 29th place after the first two rounds on Monday. He inched his way back during the final round shooting 73 to give him a three-round total of 225. He finished the tournament at nine over par.

The Utes were in 13th place going into the final round on Tuesday. Junior Gregg Oliphant was Utah's next best shooting a three day total of 229, good for 13 over par, and placing him 30th overall.

The Utes are in action again April 12-13 when they play in the Grand Canyon/Thunderbird Invitational in Phoenix, Arizona.
