PROVO, Utah - The University of Utah Golf team came away with an eighth place finish at the 37th Annual Cougar Classic over the weekend before turning around and heading straight to Pocatello, Idaho for the Bengal Invite which begins today. Utah had two players finish in the top 20 among a field that included five of the top fifty teams in the nation. Senior Jon Morgan and junior Gregg Oliphant finished 13th and 14th respectively. Morgan shot a three day total 218, finishing at two over par while Oliphant shot a 219 finishing at three over. Utah begins play today in the Bengal Invitational, their last tournament before the WAC championships begin May 4-6. Utah will play the first two rounds today and the last round tomorrow.
