Men's Cross Country Team Wins Event At Idaho State

POCATELLO, Idaho - The Utah men's cross country team won the men's four mile run at the Idaho State Invitational today with a team score of 33. Chris Merkley was the first Ute to cross the finish line with a third place time of 19:20. He as followed by Travis Hildebrand who came in fourth (19:35) and Teren Jameson was fifth (19:43).
Johanna Nielsen won the women's four mile run with a time of 12:07. The Ute women finished with an incomplete score as they only had four athletes competing. Trina Bateman and Amber Radke finished 11th with times of 12:54 and 12:56, respectively. And Daisy Freedman placed 18th with a time of 13:19.
