SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah Men's Tennis Team has inked two more players to compete with them this season. The first is 18 year-old David Laverty from Brisbane, Australia. Laverty was No. 1 in Queensland each year for eight years in his age groups from when he was 12 to 18. He also represented Australia in the World Youth Cup in 1997.

The second signee is Daniel Carlsson from Uppsala, Sweden. Carlsson has won several Swedish tournaments and has maintained a top-ten ranking in his age group in Sweden throughout his career. Both Carlsson and Laverty come in as freshman and will be at Utah for the next four years.
