Edwards Places 12th At Anteater Invitational

IRVINE, Calif.-- -
Utah's Shawn Edwards placed 12th at the Anteater Invitational on Tuesday finishing five-over-par in the two-day tournament. Edwards shot 221 (77-73-71) over three rounds. The Utes placed 15th out of 21 schools and shot 915 (307-309-299) for the tournament. Junior Ryan Ellis placed 45th for the Utes (79-75-75-229), followed by Brock Padilla in 64th place (75-80-77-232) and Gregg Oliphant in 68th place (76-81-76-233). Sophomore Jason Shepherd placed 106th (91-91-86-268) in his first tournament of the year.

The Utes will play in the Grand Canyon/Thunderbird Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz., April 10-11.
