Patrick Dyson Named MWC Player of the Week

Patrick Dyson, a senior defensive back/kick returner on the Utah football team, was named the Mountain West Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his effort against Air Force. Dyson returned a second-quarter kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown to trim AFA's lead to 17-14. It was the longest kickoff return in MWC history and the third longest ever by a Ute. Dyson has now returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in his career, both over 90 yards.
