Steve Smith Accepts Invitation To East-West Shrine Game

SALT LAKE CITY -
University of Utah wide receiver Steve Smith has been invited to yet another postseason all-star game. Smith, who already played in the Blue-Gray game and previously accepted an invitation to play in the Hula Bowl on January 20, will now appear in the East-West Shrine game, as well. The 76th East-West Shrine game will be played on January 13 in San Francisco's new Pacific Bell Park.
Smith and senior teammates Darnell Arceneaux and Kautai Olevao will play in the Hula Bowl in Maui's War Memorial Stadium on January 20. Ute head coach Ron McBride, McBride will serve as assistant coach of the South team under head coach Bobby Bowden of Florida State.
