SALT LAKE CITY -
The University of Utah football team has placed 33 members on the spring semester honor roll. To make the honor roll, a student-athlete must receive a 3.00 or better GPA. Fourteen Utes had at least a 3.50 GPA for spring semester and three-Brooks Bahr, Morgan Scalley and Matt Hansen-earned perfect 4.00 GPAs.
The team was also well represented at graduation ceremonies on May 4. Fourteen team members received diplomas, including three who still have football eligibility remaining: Tight end Michael Richardson finished his degree requirements, but will play as a senior in the fall. Bahr, who will only be a junior in the coming season, and Tony Dickamore, a senior-to-be, will take graduate level classes.
