THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's golf team will resume play when they travel to Honolulu, Hawaii, to compete in the John Burns Invitational. The University of Hawaii will host the tournament.
COLLEGIATE CLASSIC RECAP: The University of Utah men's golf team finished it's fall season by traveling to San Diego, Calif., to compete in the Collegiate Classic hosted by Long Beach State. The Utes finished tied with North Texas, placing 14th with a three round score of 926 (+74). Texas Christian won the tournament with a three round score of 861 (+9).
The Utes were led by sophomore Luke Swilor who finished tied for 33rd with a score of 227 (+14). Ashdon Woods, competing in only his second collegiate tournament, finished 36th with a three round score of 229 (+16). Freshman Nick Micek finished 42nd while Paul Winterowd and Bruce Summerhays, Jr., finished 73rd and 85th respectively.
