SALT LAKE CITY -
The 104 members of the Utah football team combined for a 2.593 team GPA in spring semester. Forty-three players made the honor roll by receiving a 3.0 or better and 10 were named to the Dean's List. Freshman Morgan Scalley had a 4.0 GPA.
Three players who were not academically eligible to practice or play last fall all received a 3.0 or better in spring semester. Sione Havili, who will be a sophomore running back in the fall, made the Dean's List. Havili, who prepped at East High, Lynzell Jackson and Marquess Ledbetter will all be eligible to play in 2002. Jackson is a wide receiver out of Arizona and Ledbetter is a defensive lineman from Mississippi.
