SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION: New Mexico State University will open their spring season on Jan. 31 against Brigham Young University. The Aggies feature Dan Even and Ben Archer-Clowes, who have both fared well in fall tournaments.
QUOTING HEAD COACH F.D. ROBBINS: "It's good to start off the season with two wins like this. I thought we were shaky to start off, and that's normal for an opener. I expect New Mexico State will be a challenge when they come here this weekend."
