THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's tennis team continues their road trip through California this week with two matches against Pac-10 conference teams. The Utes will meet Stanford in Palo Alto on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1:30 p.m. (PST) and then travel to Berkeley to take on California on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 1:00 p.m. (PST)
Scouting the Opposition: Stanford is ranked seventh in the nation, with an overall record of 6-2. David Martin is ranked fifteenth in the nation in singles with a 16-5 overall record. They also feature two of the nation's top 10 doubles teams. California, the nations fourth-ranked team, owns a 6-1 record. Connor Niland is ranked thitry-first in the nation.
Reviewing Last Week: The Utah men outlasted the St. Mary's Gaels in four close singles matches to win 6-1 on Sunday, Feb. 23. Roeland Brateanu and Nick Coutts teamed for a victory over Andre Sion and Romiain Lachens 8-6 in doubles.
Ute Notes: With his victory over Filip Sarovic, Kaisorn Chaichana moved to 6-2 in duel matches on the season. Tyler Poulson own the best overall record for the Utes having gone 11-4 thus far on the season.
