Roeland Brateanu led the Utes with a 4-6, 7-6, 6-2 victory over Ben Archer-Clowes. Brateanu teamed with Nick Coutts to defeat Mark Roberts and Luis Avila 8-6 in the no. 1 doubles match.
Quoting Assistant Coach Graeme Cox: "It is always a confidence builder to play well and beat such a solid and respected program like New Mexico State. It was a good team effort, and everyone played a little better than they did last weekend. This victory will hopefully give us some confidence for our trip to Arizona this week."
