Jason Kaufusi Named To Nagurski Watch List

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -
Utah defensive end Jason Kaufusi has been named to the 2003 "Watch List" for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, awarded annually to the nation's top defensive college player. The award is sponsored by the Charlotte Touchdown Club and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).
The 800-member FWAA selected 36 players from around the nation to the watch list. Kaufusi, who will be a senior this fall, is a two-time first-team all-Mountain West Conference defensive end. He was the 2000 MWC Defensive Freshman of the Year.
