Meyer Suspends Tune Until Further Notice

SALT LAKE CITY -
Utah Head Coach Urban Meyer has suspended linebacker Zach Tune from participating in any team activities until further notice. Meyer issued the suspension after confirming Tune had been cited by police on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol and marijuana.
Effective immediately, Tune may not lift weights or train with his teammates and will be excluded from other team activities as well.
"Zach is suspended until the legal system reaches a decision on his case," says Meyer. "Until then, he needs to see that behavior of this kind is unacceptable in our program. Once we have more information on the charges against him, we will determine an appropriate course of disciplinary action."
