BUCKEYE, Ariz. - The University of Utah men's golf team completed two rounds of competition at the Steve Kerr Invitational on Friday. The Utes sit in eighth-place, 21-strokes back of the lead. Utah shot a team score of 596 (299-297), through the first two rounds. Leading the way for the Utes is Garrett Clegg and Casey Fowles. Clegg and Fowles each shot a total of six-over-par, 148 leaving them tied for 18th individually.
Carl Jensen shot a seven-over, 149 (73-76), placing him in 24th. Luke Swilor added a 10-over, 152 (77-75), while Ashdon Woods shot a 12-over, 154 (79-75), to round out the scoring for Utah.
Colorado State leads after the second round with a team score of 575. Dan Floyd of UTEP holds the individual lead at six-under-par.
The final round of competition will begin on Saturday, March 20, at the Sundance Golf Course.
