DENVER, Colo. - The University of Utah men's tennis team walked away with a 4-0 victory over Boston College on March 6 in the Stapleton Tennis Pavilion.
The Utes took care of the Eagles in singles by winning at the one, two, three and four spots. Boston College walked away after Utah picked up four wins and did not finish at the five and six spots. No doubles were played either.
At the No. 1 spot, senior Roeland Brateanu fended off Justin Slattery (6-1, 7-5) and freshman Miron Mann destroyed Chris McCoy (6-2, 6-1) at the No. 2. Sophomore Tomasz Gryzb downed Kierman Laughlin (6-1, 6-2) at the No. 3. At the No. 4, freshman Jason Yap cruised past Derrick Chou (6-1, 6-1).
