BEAUMONT, Calif. - Garrett Clegg shot a final round score of 72 to lift him into second-place in the final round of the Braveheart Classic on Tuesday. Clegg finished the tournament seven-over-par, with a three-round total of 223 (74-77-72). Utah finished with a team score of 71-over, 931 (311-312-312), placing seventh overall.
Carl Jensen finished 30th after shooting 18-over-par, 234 (81-75-78). Casey Fowles finished at 20-over-par, 236 (77-80-79), Luke Swilor shot 26-over, 242 (79-80-83) and Jake Sowby added a score of 260 (88-85-87), for the Utes.
St. Mary's won the tournament shooting a team score of 909. The individual winner was Graham DeLeat of Boise State, who shot a three-round total of 222, one-stoke better than Clegg.
Next up for Utah will be the Steve Kerr Invitational March 19-20.
