In last Saturday's scrimmage, he scored on a 63-yard run and a big arm despite failing to connect on both pass attempts.

MEYER SAYS
"We plan to take advantage of this last week. There are still too many people in this program who aren't carrying their weight. This week will be a tough one for the guys who get their school paid for and haven't done much for it.
"The atmosphere of this year's Red-White game will be much different (from last spring). I have a better idea of who will compete. Although returners will certainly play, I have some young guys who really need to come out and play in front of a crowd. It's going to be a real game. The winning team will be rewarded and losing team will have cleanup duty. It's hot dogs and baked beams for losers and a nice dinner for the winners-coaches, trainers and secretaries included."
