Utah-New Mexico Game To Be Televised By ESPN2

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -
The Mountain West Conference office announced today that Utah and New Mexico will move their 2004 football game to a Friday to accommodate a live national television broadcast by ESPN2. The Utes and Lobos will play on Friday, October 1, starting at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time. The game was originally scheduled for October 2.
Utah now has two nationally televised games scheduled prior to the start of the season. The Utes will open their 2004 season against Texas A&M on Thursday, September 2, in a game televised by ESPN. Utah went 4-0 on national television last fall.
