THIS WEEK: The University of Utah men's tennis team travels to California for three matches against St. Mary's on Feb. 18, Santa Clara on Feb. 19 and San Francisco on Feb. 21.
REVIEWING LAST WEEK: The Utes continued play at home, hosting Idaho State and Weber State last week. Utah picked up two victories, 7-0 over the Bengals and 7-0 over the Wildcats. With the wins, the team improves to 4-0 on the season.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: The St. Mary's men's tennis team has a 2-5 mark on the season. The Gaels have wins over Idaho State and Eastern Washington University. They have losses to No. 7 Stanford, No. 44 San Diego, Portland, UC Pepperdine and UC Riverside.
Santa Clara has compiled a 2-3 record so far this season. The team started out with wins over UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz. Santa Clara's losses have been to three ranked teams: No. 28 Cal, No. 27 UC Pepperdine and No. 73 UC Irvine.
The University of San Francisco is 1-5 on the season. The Don's lone win was over Cal Poly. The losses have been to No. 41 Boise State, No. 21 Washington, Portland, UC Santa Barbara and Old Dominion.
