SALT LAKE CITY - Three members of the University of Utah men's basketball team have been named to the spring 2006 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
Making the team were Chris Grant of Salt Lake City (So., 3.21 GPA, Business), Chris Jackson of Los Alamos, N.M. (Sr., 3.68 GPA, Chemical and Fuels Engineering/MBA), and Jonas Langvad of Skovlunde, Denmark (Jr., 3.27 GPA, Finance).
