SALT LAKE CITY -
The Utah football team will hold a scrimmage on Saturday, Apr. 14 from 8:45-10:30 a.m. at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The event is open to the public.
In other Ute football news, running back Darryl Poston will miss the rest of spring ball after breaking two bones in his foot in last week's scrimmage. The break is not serious and Poston should return to training by June and be at full strength by the start of fall camp. Junior Dustin Hensel has emerged as the leading candidate to start at left tackle in place of Tavo Tupola, who completed his NCAA eligibility in 2006. Battling for the backup job behind Hensel are junior Corey Seiuli and redshirt freshman Walter Watts.
This Saturday's scrimmage is the last full-scale tune-up for the annual Red-White Spring Game, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 starting at 1 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium. Admission and parking will be free.
