The Utes will hold practices on Tuesday and Thursday, and a scrimmage on Saturday, April 7. The weekday practices are scheduled for 3-5 p.m. on the practice fields, weather permitting. In case of wet conditions, the practices will be moved to the stadium. Saturday's scrimmage is scheduled for 9-11 a.m. at a location to be determined (practice fields or Rice-Eccles Stadium).
COMING UP
Three weeks and 10 practices remain of Utah's 15-day spring camp schedule. Scrimmages will be conducted on Saturday, April 7 and 14, with the Red-White Spring Game slated for Saturday, April 21.
RED-WHITE SPRING GAME
The fifth-annual Red-White game will be held in Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, April 21 starting at 1 p.m. It is free to the public and the players will sign autographs after the game.
UTE NOTES
This Thursday's practice has been designated as non-tackling ... Saturday's scrimmage will run about 90 plays. Mixed in will be special teams and red zone work ... Four players are getting most of the reps at the two tackle positions. Either Gabe Long or Zeke Tuinei-Wily will start at one tackle, while Kenape Eliapo or Pauli Latu are battling at the other tackle position ... Senior Kyle Brady is starting at rover linebacker ahead of sophomore Stevenson Sylvester ... Redshirt freshman Paul Kruger has moved up to No. 2 at tight end.
