SALT LAKE CITY- The University of Utah men's tennis team (5-4) travels to Boise, Idaho for their second set of road matches. The first match against No. 29 Boise State (6-4)is on Friday, Feb. 27 with the second match on Saturday against Idaho (7-3) both matches will be held at the Boas Tennis Center.
"After last week's losses on the road, we are looking to get some wins and get back on the winning track," said assistant coach Roeland Brateanu. "Both Idaho and Boise State are respectable programs and both should give us a pretty good run for our money."
Last time Utah met Idaho the Utes swept the Vandals at home, 7-0. Utah is on a three match losing streak against Boise State with their last win, 5-4, in 2006. The Broncos currently have two nationally ranked singles players, Kean Feeder No. 57 and Clancy Shields No. 62.
The Utes are looking to improve their 0-4 road match record coming off of two losses in southern California last weekend. The Utes fell to No. 61 UC Santa Barbara, 5-2, and UC Irvine, 6-1.
